Sustainable Travel Conferences in Istanbul & Amsterdam

Bidroom, the membership-based travel club for exclusive hotel deals, hosted a series of conferences under the brand name IMeetHotel. As the first global industry event connecting hoteliers to the future of hospitality, it brought together influential names in the hospitality industry for direct interactions with hoteliers. The conference was to give hoteliers keys to higher revenue, new technologies, innovative business models, trends in marketing, and customer loyalty. One Planet participated in the capacity of experts on sustainable travel and tourism.

In Istanbul, at the Intercontinental Hotel, the discussion, together with the certification body, Greenkey, centred on how hotels can reduce their environmental footprint without compromising customer comfort.

The Amsterdam conference, in the venerable Heineken brewery, covered the climate emergency and what immediate actions hotels need to take to satisfy guest expectations.
